Our Living Water is bringing in a season of new life and new beginnings. He comes in like a tidal wave washing away the debris of our loss and pain. Whatever it is that the enemy has stolen, He is restoring back to us.
We all have our own fair share of heartache, loss, and disappointments, but God, in His mercy and grace, allows us to grieve even for a while. But God tells us to take heart, for weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning. So give yourself some time to grieve what was lost, but prepare to enter in a season of new life and new beginnings so that you may fully walk into this new thing that God is offering you. Allow God to walk into every broken area of your life and all the desert wastelands and dry bones will come to life. This is His promise and this is your inheritance.
Now, this is what Yahweh says:
“Listen, Jacob, to the One who created you,
Israel, to the one who shaped who you are.
Do not fear,
For I, your Kinsman-Redeemer, will rescue you.
I have called you by my name, and you are mine.
When you pass through the deep stormy sea,
You can count on me to be there with you.
When you pass through raging rivers,
you will not drown.
When you walk through persecution like fiery flames,
you will not be burned;
The flames will not harm you,
for I am your Savior, Yahweh, your mighty God,
the Holy One of Israel!”
Yahweh is the one who makes a way in the sea,
a pathway in the mighty waters.
He destroyed chariots and horses
and all their mighty warriors.
They fell, never to rise again—
gone forever, snuffed out like a wick.
This is what he says:
“Stop dwelling on the past.
Don’t even remember these former things.
I am doing something brand new,
Something unheard of.
Even now it sprouts and grows and matures.
Don’t you perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and open up flowing streams in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:1-3;16-19)
